Anyone noticed that images are sporadically not rendering properly in stories lately? What’s up with that?

They announced that after consultation with LE readers, the vast majority didn't want nudity on the site. Visitors wanted to be able to view the website in situations where nudity wouldn't be allowed and they wanted the site to be devoted to written erotica.

But I think it's clearly a reaction to laws requiring age verification, and other rules/legislation adversely affecting sites that have visual pornography. They systematically stripped all images off the site that might include nudity.

I'm pretty sure that's also why the home page was redesigned.

I think it's pretty funny to strip out nudity and then have suggestive ads across pages. But I'm sure Laurel has to pay the bills. I don't begrudge them needing to make decisions that they think are best for the site.
