I'm watching 'A Beautiful Mind' again....

....it's a damn good flick.

I really think Russel did a wonderful job at it. And it deserved its Oscar. Today I read that it's on someone's second list for most undeserved Oscars, second to Braveheart. I think that's crap.

Very good movie.

(Though it's totally absurd that he'd get such a cool chick, lol)

It was a good flick. If I didn't have so much writing to do I'd go out and rent it again, now that you've got me thinking about it again. That one line at the end totally captivated me.

"They're my past, Martin. Everyone's haunted by thier past."

Wonderful line (though I can't say for sure the guy's name was Martin).

It's natural that there is more depth to be found in a book.

Not necessarily more depth in a book, depends on the book, eh? But this is a true story, a man's extraordinary life, we're talking about, so the film had to leave out quite a bit. P.

Yes, the film left out quite a bit and fabricated quite a bit. But I suppose that's true of anything that is "based" upon a true story. And we loved the film just the same.
