I know that I am undergoing certain transformations. And they're bringing me back around to enjoying holidays again...and life in general.

Funny how the world turns.

Of all the places to to find love and a new outlook on life...I found it here.


So I just want to say...

Thank you Lit and the folks here for bringing me back to the caring world.

What unexpected places or events have brought you ..."back around"?

I'm thankful for . . .

I'm one of those lucky ones whose life has been largely placid and contented. My traumas, such as they were, happened long ago but I remember them well enough to appreciate your newly discovered joie de vivre. Blessings, Misty.

I'm grateful for my current status of employment and that I will be able to keep my job. I was freaking out before the election.

I am also grateful that I am off for 2 days.

I am thankful that I lived through a Las Vegas trip.

Thanks to a friend I met here, I finally realized I had and sought help for my clinical depression that plagued me for several years.

I now have a new lease and outlook on life. I will be forever thankful for her insight, patience and kindness.

I'm thankful for my three beautiful, intelligent children, that my mom is back in good health, and that my youngest brother is out and doing well.

I suppose you could construe what you wish from my statements above. However, they are purposely random because the things I am truly grateful for are also much closer to the pain and stress I've been going through the last few weeks. Being able to say random, silly things is, in a way, a break from the heart-wrenching aspects of my life that I endure on a daily basis. Think of me what you will. I AM grateful for all those things, however, they're not on the top of my list. They're just on the eccentric side of my Thanksgiving list.

It's a special time of year and we should all be patient and caring. Sometimes life can trick us into being something we regret.

I'm thankful my Mother has lived for another year and will get to spend thanks give with her away from the nursing home, I know there are not many left.
