Im stuck.

ok, first not sure if this is the right part of the forum for this but it said story ideas.

so anyhow Im stuck on where to take my series that i have been writing. Last i wrote it was back on Under My skin ch 6.

I simply dont know where to go from or even how to start a new chapter. and i was thinking maybe i could use a bit of help,

is it possible to ask for someone else who has a fresh pair of eyes to perhaps talk with or share what ideas or perhaps brains storm so i might be able to start writing again?

I am wanting to finish the series , i Just kind of got side tracked by other ideas. Does tha thappen to any other writers?

if not here then perhaps with someone in private messages perhaps?

It was just a thought. so please if this isnt possible let me know. Like I said it was just an idea I had.

Ideas I got plenty of. I get ideas like my garden gets weeds.

The best thing in the world for writers block is to chill-out and catch your breath and let your brain work on the idea task.

Example: I started a new story about a week ago (actually I started 5 new stories) and it hit a wall after 2300 words. I saw no path to take whatever. OK. So then it hit me today, change all of the characters slightly with a common cause. That is I changed one character from a starving student to a pimp, I made the pimps lover the doting mom of a crazy young man who's tormenting one of the pimp's girls. I also made mom an elected official with the horns to gore the pimp if he thumps Sonny Boy.

Maybe if you tell us what you have so far, we could brainstorm some ideas. Tough to do that without knowing anything about your story.

ok so i suck at synopsis but here goes.

my main character is a guy who is attacked by a ghoul while on his way home form the store. he gets saved by a vampire who in turn takes him to her mansion and slowly twists him to become her pet while keeping him captive. he does his best to try to escape but none the less falls under her power and becomes her slave. however part way to that the main badgy who is from the female vampires past comes back. she releases him from he r thrall at least for the time being so she could handle the new threat.

while this all going on the second main character is a girl who is the main characters best friend. shes been looking for him for three days and has filed reports with the police and finds out theres a whole slew of missing persons etc.she finally stumbles upon the main character while a pout looking for him thats as far as Ive gotten..

I read your story.

What all of them have in common is the PC's soul. All of them want it, in one form or fashion. Possession of his soul is where the drama is. The friend wants to rescue him, the vampire wants him for her collection, and he's tormented by his attraction to the vampire and his desire to be free, he wants to be his own man, kinda . So! Your story direction is the struggle between the two women and his ambivalence, that is, the gals tug on the rope, and he's the rope, and he'll go with whomever is stronger.

Sure, I was like that with my current series 'An Average Guy'.
I just started writing something else, and I managed to get inspiration to continue the series. At the same time as continuing AAG I've got another story of around 9K words on the go, and I'm not even half way through. I find that getting away from one particular set of characters helps me to focus on them in a way.
