...or so someone on a New Zealand contacts site tells me.

Is this news? Should I be concerned? What would you proscribe? Do I need to be cured? Is it contagious?

Of course, I am devestated at this news. Utterly. :p

So very kind, ADR. I knew I liked you!

Apparently it was news to the woman who sent it to me. She blocked me as well, so I couldn't even reply to her. (And no, I had never contacted her...)

Okay, now that is news. What kind of woman would block you? Really, you *are* harmless. It's part of your charm.

Well, you are harmless online... I'm sure you aren't all that harmless up close and personal. ;-)

*Whew* For a minute there, I thought this was "destroy FungiUg's reputation" day!

I like to think I am Mostly Harmless. (Just the bits where I am not that you have to worry about.)

Sad to say, there are some very close-minded judgemental people out there. I guess one just decided to inform me that she was in that category. Or maybe she genuinely thinks I need to see a doctor?

Well I think you can still outrun the guys with the white coats.

*shrug* So? - Near as I can tell, compared to a lot of us you are pretty benign.

As for the dimwits who send you smackmail and then block replies - screw it - ignore em.

Nah... not my style to ignore people. Instead, I find the humour in the subject!

Hell if thats the case, as a pain slut, I must be critically ill, ......I am lucky I guess, I just get called a freak....but I have always been called a freak for some reason or another, since childhood so what the hey?At least its not a sickness you are likely to die from.

That's a bit off! Do you have a hump and a nose lilke an elephant's trunk? If not, I'm not sure you can qualify as a freak -- they have tough entry criteria!

We want pictures, Fungi of your new house and surroundings when you get settled in.

Can you do that for us?

Yup. House, anyway. Surroundings are, er, more houses. Don't even have a view of the skytower! But it's a block away from a great school, and so that offsets the lack of view.

Actually, my lover has a pic I can scan, and I've been meaning to for ages, so I'll try and remember to do that. If I forget, just remind me.

I reckon I can do that. ;-)

(Don't you folks use that word, a lot?)

Not physically, lol. Mentally. I do wierd stuff.Like the dead insects pinned to my pantry door. I think they are pretty. Dragon flies and beetles, amongst other memorabillia. And my eyes are different colours, which is a genetic mutation....

Reckon! (as in "yes, I think so".)

We also end our sentences all too often with "eh" (pronounced ay). "Cool, eh?" On the other hand, this beats the Aussies, who like to end their sentences with "but". "I'm just going down to the shop, but."

And what you call 24/7s we call Dairies. I wonder if I can interest a submissive in a Dairy relationship? :p

Your eyes are different colours? You are a freak! :p

I have a friend with a masters degree in biology, and she's into bugs in a big way as well!

I prefer the term freeq, as in freedom. And its a mutation called heterochromia, the old term was mosaicism. I used to collect insects as a kid, had the net, the killing jar etc.Lots of butterflies pinned to foam blocks. Now I just keep ones I find that are dead already. have you ever seen the film "the collector"?

No, haven't seen that movie, sorry.

From what I have heard, it's not an uncommon mutation to have eyes different colours.

Its about a guy that collects butterflies then decides to collect himself a women and kidnaps her, 60's.
ok so I am a common freak.

You'd need a huge book to pin her to though, and it might get a bit messy! Still, I suppose a squashed woman might be worth it... :p

He kept her prisoner and offered her his undying love, if she would only love him in return....she tried to escape he killed her and he set about collecting another..in the final scene he was sitting in his car outside a hospital looking at nurses... I found it very disturbing

Hmmm... wasn't there a similar movie called Boxing Helena in the 90s?

I am really beginning to think you have a thing for amputations now, lol. In" Boxing Helena" he was a doctor, with insight into what he was doing, in" The collector "he was just a sad little man who wanted a beautiful woman to love him.

I've not seen either movies -- I do remember reading the blurb for Boxing Helena though. You on the other hand... well, I wonder which of us really has the fetish? :D

I just love obsession type films, I used to work on an amputee unit, when you said leave your feet outside the tent, I was thinking literally. My latest fetish is zebras. with all four legs.
