Is it just me, or is anyone else disappointed in the selection of the "new" James Bond?

I mean really.... Julian McMahon would have been SO much better (for those who don't recognize the name, he's the actor who played Cole on "Charmed" and is currently playing Christian on "Nip/Tuck").

Hey... I may be straight, but I know handsome and spiffy when I see it. Gawd I wish I had the class and style of Cary Grant....

Was Julian McMahon in the running? How could they have not chosen him if he was? Hell the women that are familiar with him would have bought tickets just to see if he'd taken his shirt off in the movie and him in a suit??? ~swoon~

I don't know, but I do think threr is something that says they require, or maybe just want the Bond character to be British, or at least have that type of an accent. Haven't all of the other Bonds been either British or Scotish? Well, those that were any good, at least?

Well Gday, stone the crows even DVS (might get away with it with that AV ), Julian McMahon is an Australian . His father , William McMahon was Australia's 20th Prime Minister (1971–72). and his American 'accent' was acquired.

It happens once in a while but one of the things I want to do this year after I get in much better shape is to work on wardrobe improvement. I also want to rething my living style. Surroundings. Furniture and stuff like that. It seems that the more focused and organized I feel as I come along the more my lifestyle reflects that. Jeans will always have their place but eventually they will be more for outdoor playtime.
