I'm posting this irregardless!

hehehe

You got my blood boiling! I was already to stomp on the thread and talk about the fact that "irregardless" isn't a word! hehehe

:D

I've heard and used the word irregardless for as long as I can remember. I'm not going to let a little thing like grammer get in my way.

:p

My Internet pet peeve is people who do not know the difference between words that sound similar. As an example their, there, and they're or affect and effect.

And I'm sure there sorry for making such a mistake later.

:p

French is perverted enough, we had to un-pervert it. Imagine putting the final sound before it's vowel in spelling. Sen-tur doesn't really sound like Centre does it? Centre looks like sen-treh. :)

*vainly hopes the rationalization works...*

what i hate is getting "dissed" for using u's... like in colour, neighbour, et cetera...

my mom ALways uses 'irregardless'. luckily i was able to wean my husband off of 'nucular' though...

but the "they're, their, there, too, to, two" is the worst i think, right after double negatives :)

and peeps that use either ALL caps, or NO caps... (luckily, i just used a few caps myself, so i'm safe *whew*! *G*)

Need I say more?

I agree with all of those especially peeps and I hate when people say supposibly, I mean how hard is it to pronounce the d?

Oops. I'm guilty of rampant "puter" use. I'm not sure what "ta" is, but I don't like it. Maybe because I don't understand it.

Like fingernails on a chalkboard

I see this frequently in the story section, the word "women" to denote one person.

GRRR!

I'm one of the guilty ones.. of using effect and affect.. i get to typing so damn fast that i don't realize that i used the wrong one  ...
