becoming a "free nation" with TheHeretic as its leader.
I wouldn't make it a "free state" because that would imply that the pols of Washington, DC have any jurisdiction there. Make it a nation in itself so they can make all their own policies and have absolutely no reason to blame political interference from the outside, for their troubles.

Please, let's start soon, so us Americans can work on our reforms, and the Montanans can enact theirs, and we can see who's going to be the most free and prosperous. This ongoing b.s. about "your system sucks and mine rules" is mind-numbingly pointless until we get to see both systems played out in the wild.

I'd even be willing to split the US in half and divide it between both sides, just to make it completely fair.
