Is it just me or do other people hate the French.

I don't know why the just seem so rude.

I've been to France and the sales people here in my good old local US Walmart are ruder.

I ahve only experienced rudeness in Paris and Nice. Everwhere else in France, people has been very nice and open.

It was a very long time ago that i was there, but from memory they seemed pretty good to me.

Mind you, I stayed in a rural area around Brittaney (ok and my spelling sucks), so I guess it could have been different.

I find rudeness from all different people the same as I find niceness from all different people. But the rudest people I have come across are those that live right here where I do in the good old US of A!

oh i also forgot.... did they think you were British? that makes a huge difference ya'know ;)

C'mon...the city is called "The Rotten Apple"...how bad do you have to be to get that nickname?

I don't HATE the French, I just still resent the fact that they took over Britain in 1066. Do you think I hold a grudge too long?

Believe me, I've met quite a few people outside of NY with worse attitudes than New Yorkers.

I can get lost in my own backyard, and every NYer I've ever asked for directions has been very helpful to me. How unfriendly is that?
