It is 5.30 pm Staurday evening here right now. The kids are away for the weekend and the husband is out at Karate....

So with no kids at this time of day, when I am usally getting their dinner ready, I don't have to. :D

So I hired a movie, bought a HUGE bag of caramel popcorn and I'm gonna go do something I never get to do anymore at 5.30pm...

Relax......

aaaaaaaaaaaaa..........bliss.

Enjoy it while it lasts T.H. Oughts. :)

By the way, what movie did you rent?

The First Wives Club... I enjoyed it.

I have not seen it before.... I was told by my husband before when I wanted to rent it that it's a chick flick, so I always compromised and hired something we both would enjoy... not tonight....

Hell I'm sick of compromising...

Peace in MY time.

Absolutely....................................it just has to be done girl!

Speaking of which mines just got up!

True, But My Kid Is Great!

Yer Kids Gotta Learn Ta Live With YOU, Not The Other Way Around.

I Thought This Was Gonna Be Harder Than It Is:D

Good Kid, Fun Kid! I Deserve Neither, I'm Real Lucky! LOL

Watching your own offspring come into this world is probably to tops of anything I have ever done. It is some really powerful medicine. Teenage years later, though, I am starting to hope that it is even more powerful medicine to watch them leave the nest. I have been thinking they need to explore more culturally diverse options though, and so I have inquired into a boarding school....in northern Mongolia!

Have You Ever Seen How Much A Freaking Parka Costs!

Parkas?

Hell, have you ever seen how much a 'homecoming' dress costs?

The wife commented the other day, that our food budget will be one-third when they finally get sick of us and 'find' their own way. Two can live cheaper than one...not four!

If I had known how expensive they would become...I would have sold them when they were cute:cool:

yea, I got your drift on the parkas the first time...I may have been born at night...but it wasn't last night:D

How many lovely years have you enjoyed your treasure, RNAB?

I made the comment yesterday, that I think somewhere around 10-12 yrs old is when the 'change' occurred for me. My business plan now, is to make them believe that there is 'no *#@*! place like home', so...logical conclusion...ANY PLACE! would be better!:D

I'm not sure it is working, though. I think I need to tighten the purse strings a bit. Hit them where it hurts. Eliminate the free lunch program!

It is good to just be alone and enjoy yourself sometimes. Hope you enjoyed to moment, and will have more time this weekend.

I love my kids to death, but sometimes I just need a break! When they start getting especially annoying, I tell them that I changed my name, and am not answering to "Mom" anymore, and I am not telling them the new name. Heh. At least it makes them laugh and stops the whining temporarily :D
