When I woke up this morning it was to open windows and a cool breeze blowing through the place. I also woke up to damp sheets and bedroom rug. The towels in the bathroom were also damp. The whole place was damp. When I looked at the weather station I could see the problem.
The outside temperature was 73° and the inside temperature was 75°. The humidity both inside and outside was right at 100%. That could explain the place feeling wet.
I looked at the weather for the day and saw the high temp. was forecast to be 75°. I closed the windows and kicked on the De-Humidifier.
I picked this thing up a couple of years ago. It's big and old. It stands two feet tall and is two feet wide. The catch bucket for it holds two gallons of water. I emptied the catch basin twice during the day.
Right now the Temperature outside is at 70° and the humidity is still at 100%. The temperature inside is 75° and the humidity is 49%. (The higher inside temp is due to the De-Humidifier, they put out a bit of heat.) In other words it's quite comfortable now.
I'm glad I picked this thing up.
