Todd, there's a difference between trying to be fluffy and being redundant. Starting one or two threads about things that interest you is one thing, but starting about 6 threads that all have similar ideas is jsut as bad, if not worse, than the bazillion threads about the war.

If the threads about war bother you that much, you could bump up threads on other pages that interest you.
