You know... There was the song they did where they were like dancing and singing and stuff in the place with the people and all that... It was kinda sorta not all that too really awful or something.

Like, omg, I sooo had a crush on the badboy.. Donnie.

My walls were plastered with posters.

I had the "trading cards".

I bought scores and scores of all the teenybopper mags.

I had all the tapes.. and a video or two.

I think my mom kept all that crap in a drawer somewhere at their house.. I gotta go check it out.

I had dreams about Donnie and I being together.. wrote tons of letters I never sent.. and memorized useless facts like his fav car was a Saab something-thousand..

I had it bad.

What alot of people don't know is that I was the sixth new Kid on the block. I was the newest kid on the block and they gave me the boot before they went platinum.
It was on account of the jealousy...one night Donnie tried to pick up MY girlfriend by trying to play it all cool in the back of his car. When she turned him down he got all hissy and began drinking and whoreing. Later it came out who the girl was and he had me kicked out of the band. That's why you only hear my beat boxing on one track.

It's just as well, I was way ahead of those guys stylistically...I was pioneering the lovable dork thing while they deteriorated into white thug wannabes. Eff them.

You don't even have to play them backwards..."Please don't go Girl" was a young, confused, joey dealing with my leaving the band and his own emerging homosexuality.

I tried to join Bell Biv DeVoe after the break but it was just too painful. I drifted away from pop music never to return.
