Hello, I used to be known as Gomyr on the boards (many moons ago) and if you've heard of me, you're either lying or you go a LONGGG way back to the days of dial-in BBS's before this newfangled Information Superhighway Thingy was practical. I have only one story posted anywhere and that's here at Literotica.com. I'm not active on any boards, but that's not why I'm posting here.

I stumbled upon Chyoo here at Literotica and checked it out. It's fairly obvious that it's sort of like the "creative writing" excercises I did in High School where one person starts writing then passes the work to someone else who adds a little bit, and passes it to someone else, etc. until everyone in the group has contributed to the final story. In this case, I gather that members are invited to add "options" to the story, altering the outcome of the story. Theoretically, the story can never be "finished".

My reason for this post is that I visited the site (I have not yet registered) and I could not find any "help file", "guidelines", or "rules" links anywhere on the homepage. I would like to know if there are any specific rules or etiquette I should know about other than general common sense stuff like no spamming, no flaming, etc.

If anyone can enlighten me I would be grateful.

Thank you.
Very Sincerely,
Gomyr

The reason for this is that Chyoo spends extended periods of time under construction, and certain pieces such as the FAQ or the link to the Chyoo Forums (here) just disappear or stop working. As a working compromise, the Chyoo site administrator/developer has appointed several of the regular writers as moderators (meaning they have power to approve and fix stories, but not change the site itself).

Read the Chyoo FAQ (or scan the story map if you're logged in), which the new writer-moderators have presented as a story. There is a specific site rule about prohibited content. And ask here or in the Chyoo Site Feedback forum.

Welcome,

Sticky thread for FAQ?

I wonder if Setic can give us a sticky thread to point to the FAQ.

I was looking over the prohib. and was curious as to the thoughts behind their choices: personal tastes, local law, etc? The reason I ask is the I could not find a single set of codified mores that addressed these topics with these particular which drew the lines of distinction at the same places as Chyoo has.
