I'm Home

Bump

Remembering all our countrymen "over there" this holiday!

Thank you.

This "bump" is dedicated to Schoolteacher. Hope your enjoying Xmas!

Another BUMP

Spent a while strolling the streets on Christmas Day. Passed the bronze statute which is on temporay display of a praying fireman. Read the messages and looked at the faces of just a few of the many we have lost from this life. Our local firestation lost half their staff (15 fire fighters) who never returned after responding to the WTCenter attack in September.

Still feeling the pain of the immense loss of September 11th, I am thankful for those who are on the front lines right now and include them and their families in my prayers during this holiday season. Thank you.

Welcome Back

Thank you all for the warm welcome back. I really appreciate the support that everyone has for our military. There are a lot of guys out there who would love to see the responses that you all gave. If you do have anything you would like to say, let me know and I'll E-mail them to some of the guys I know who are still out there. Thanks again, and let's hope we kick Osama into next week so our boys can come home soon.

Hey Arrow... I just came across this thread a bit late, but I definitely want to welcome you back and express my most sincere appreciation for what you and all the other HEROS are doing for our country and the freedoms we cherish and enjoy. To paraphrase "Tiny Tim":

GOD BLESS YOU EVERYONE

Keep yourselves safe and return to us soon with a job WELL DONE

And, please, forward this on to all your buddies and comrades still over there - wherever "there" may be.

Thank you all - again!!!

Arrow,
I am truely glad that you are back safe and sound. Thank you and all of your fellow servicemen for all that they are doing for us. I am glad that your family and friends have you home for the holidays. It is a blessing for them to have you back! We are glad you are back with us here also. My brother was deployed in November to "an undisclosed location" and we miss him very much and are grateful for all of the servicemen and women who give up so much so that we can have what we do. He is stationed out of CA also so I went to see him before he left after Thanksgiving. Glad to have you back! Thanks again for all your hardwork.

I am so happy to see that this post hasn't slipped way down the ladder to be lost forever.

Thank you to all who helped bump it up. I still see a few names missing... Why not thank the young man? I would be interested in your reasons whatever they are.

You know how I feel about the military. Or at least I hope you do by now, if you have been reading my posts.

God bless everyone who puts their life on the line to serve and protect others. I salute even the truck driver who daily puts his/her life on the line so I can eat a damned banana when I want to.

Thanks again to you all.
