I got disappointed today. I saw a really cool pair of pants in a surf shop. They were a bit tight around the arse, but I was prepared to put up with that. Then I turned around and looked at myself in the mirror... and realised they were so tight around the front that I had camel's hoof syndrome

I'm highly disappointed in my life, in myself, in how I interact with people and how they interact with me. I'm disappointed that I have no time without kids, that I'll spend my weekend home alone with them, that everyone I know is attached to someone and is happy, fulfilled, busy while I'm just standing still, alone, always alone.

I spent most of the day at a fencing competition.
As did the wife. A different competition 30 miles away.
Both kids did very well. It's been a good day for the kids and us.
Tomorrow is rugby day, and finishing homework day.
