500 posts....time to reflect a little.
When I first started visiting this board I was alternately in absolute awe/thinking get out of the house more, of the people who had over 500 posts.
In a very short time I realized why people were drawn to this board and why they stayed and posted so much. In fact I joined them. It is a fantastic place with far more than its share of intelligent, insightful, intiguing and irreverent posters.
This place has provided me with a place to laugh and vent and express ideas. Something that very few other places provide and for that I would like to thank Manu and Laurel.
For those who have laughed and kidded and blustered and argued with me, I thank you all. Positive or negative you provided me with a much needed outlet.
There are a few people I would like to thank personally.

It is not false modesty when I say that I very humbly take on the Guru title. I am sure I will never be a Dixon or a Lasher (before they were elevated even higher)or many of the others who have preceded me. But I hope that at least some of you have enjoyed my posts and I will do my best to be worthy of my new status.
