We got this El Nino weather pattern, which is giving us warmer than usual weather, with normal precipitation. This past week it's been in the mid-50's F (I don't do C), and in the 20's at night. I just got back from riding my motorcycle, with warm hands!

Yesterday was mid to high 60s and gorgeous.

Then it all melted.
Then it snowed before New Year's.
That all melted too.

We're getting somewhere in the neighborhood of a foot of snow over the next two days. (Lake effect — hard to predict.)
But it won't melt for a while. It's going to be below zero here next week.
