I feel like the OP did not make that clear, because the OP kinda reads like the dude just doesn't work on the relationship and so... gets left by the wife to go be with her new lover.

I don't really like stories about cheating in general so I ain't got a dog in this fight but that is what the OP reads like.

I don't understand why people stay with cheaters either, in the real world, but the alternative is that your wife leaves you for her lover and now you're alone and that's a pretty big stigma so I guess that's the reason. I, personally, would rather be alone than with someone who doesn't respect me enough to tell me the truth and be open about our relationship. But idk, not everyone is me.

Having said that, you can totally get "the wife gets caught cheating and leaves her husband for the other man instead of them working on the marriage" trope from pretty much every movie ever. There's a shocking number of movies where that's the catylist for the plot. The dude then has to find out what to do with his life so he does whatever the movie had in mind of him to do, open a summer camp, go back to school, work on his wedding singing business, etc. It's kind of weird how often that's the thing.

The point of cuckolding is that the husband is in on the humiliation. It wouldn't be cuckolding if that weren't the case and so, any other form of stories would be other forms of stories. What it sounds like you're looking for is a basic wife cheating story from the husband's POV where I guess he gets some rebound ass.

They're out there, guy. It's a tale as old as time. You gotta go dig through the crates yourself to find that one gem record you want!
