So yeah. Going to an old school techno party (like, techno before there was hiphop - imagine that.) Basically a party themed from techno parties of 1982-1984 in Detroit. For those who don't know, this is probably where the phrase "ass-slappin good time" comes. It's quite customary to go around spankin' asses as you get the funk on. (The namefor this type of party, if you want to get specific here, is what is called a charivari party). Also, techno parties in Detroit still have the customary ass-slap - just don't be afraid to have a big hulkin black man slap your ass.

So yeah, it's like Red Ass except you don't throw a ball against a wall and there's music playing.

If and when they throw another one of these parties. There is too much house played as opposed to techno that techno pretty much is only a few times as many times as hardcore (and hardcore itself played only one ever few months.) I don't like house at all but all the nightclubs play it here (the ones that play the 4 on the floor stuff). Anyways, yeah. It was fun.
