I'm heading to cancun in october. Anybody been there? Anything I should check out in particular. First time heading out of the country as well. Any advice/comments would be appreciated as well as helpful.

Drinking tequila is a good idea. It's much safer than the water.

Well put and good point too. I'm looking forward to it. Actaully it's a family vacation. My mom's company is sending her along to help with a meeting and since others who are going take people along, mom said "Well you and your brother are going, right?" Like she needed to ask. It's a free room and all i;ve got to do is pay for airfare and food. It was almost cairo or hawaii......but I think this'll do nicely.

Cancun is very much the American college student party spot. It's also a common place for kids graduating from High School to go on Senior Trip.

Yeah I know but it's better than not going at all adn the price is right. Not that I'm cheap but it's too expensive for me to foot alone.
