Not permenantly, just for a 2 week break. In June I am going home to Hafnarfjordur (Iceland) and I am hoping to get lots of writing done while there. It has always been my place to relax. Anyone want some lava?

I would love some lava. That would be so cool. A chunk of lava would really fit in in my living room. How easy is it to get, just out of curiosity? Is it found in every souvenir shot or can you actually go hiking and get a chunk?

A friend of mine once asked me to bring her some maple syrup and when I arrived with it in a bottle she was upset. She thought I was actually going to go get it from a tree myself. I was like, "Honey, the only thing I've ever done with a tree is chop one down." I know how to get syrup, but not from a tree.

Lava is easy to get. The whole island is covered in it really. However I was just informed by my sweetie that Icelandic customs is no longer allowing people to take lava out of the country. I don't know whay the hell not. We have plenty.

I have not heard of shark guts candy, but when I was a kid I owned a pair of seal skin boots, and I have eaten Churka, which is a dish made of whale blubber and a few other nasty things.
