In all seriousness, I need to make an appointment. I've always be a bit deaf in one ear but for some reason it's getting worse I think. Sadly, it's the female voice that gives me the most trouble. I suspect it's the gentler tone. It's really kinda scaring me, and it sucks to have to ask people to repeat over and over. The cell phone is the worse too, I've got the volume jacked all the way up and still can't hear well enough to make out everything. Sigh.

i know the feeling babe. and believe me, it could be worse. i have a hard time sometimes hearing the person sitting right next to me. which i am beginning to find to be really sad. and it really sucks sometimes when my boy says something really nice to me and i dont hear it....

Thanks for the kind words...it could be worse, being deaf isn't the end of the word, I'd still be able to do quite a bit. Certainly Literotica! LOL. I'm pretty sure by the time I'm fourty I'll be nearly deaf.

Just kidding, I have a similar type problem. Since I was in high school (or in that general timeframe) I have had decreased hearing in one of my ears...........so I can relate. Mine is self induced though, from all the rock concerts I went to without any hearing protection.

(Ted Nugent was probably one of the loudest shows I have ever seen, with AC/DC a close second)

i "hear" ya! my hearing has decreased over the years also.

but, the worst thing is that if i get to talking about sex i might just as well stop what im doing before i screw it up.

and the sight of a good looking woman screws up everything!
my hearing, eyesight, mental focus, balance... hell it goes on and on.

in your case i would get to see a doctor. sometimes early treatment can help if anything can be done.

Ahhhh yes we do. My partial hearing loss is permenant, go get it looked into (or at........) and see if they can catch yours before it is too late, if in fact it is a loss of hearing and is workable.
