Daylight Savings Time. I'll have to get up at 5 AM (real time, not fake DST). Shit starts Sunday :(

I'd like to catch the person who thought up daylight savings time down a nice dark alley some night.

You're not the only one.

PANIC is ensuing in the tech world... pretty frackin' hilarious.

I kept all my Y2K stuff...I think it could still happen.
:D

I like it, but it is hard to lose that hour at first. Kind of like jet lag until I adjust.

But you don't really lose it, it's more like a skip.... then winter comes and you fall back on that poor hour and squish it.....

But keep in mind people... that feeling in the fall, when just as the bar is about to close... *POOF* a magical stay of execution.

My watch and clocks never change. It's the rest of the world that's fucked up :D

There's a town somewhere in the midwest (I think) USA that straddles either state lines or county lines. Anyway, half the town goes on DST, the other half never does. It really screws up making meetings across town on time.

We go off daylight savings time soon - yay! An extra hour's sleep!!! :D

Isn't it happening about 6 weeks earlier this year? WHY??? Or have I been hibernating?

All you jokers running Micro$haft OS better download that DST patch or your compoota's gonna be behind the times.

Or you can reset it manually. ;)

As I recall, DST ends at 2AM on Sunday morning. What that means is that, at 2AM, ZAP, the bar is closed. POOF and it's only 1AM again. Too bad; the bar stays closed until 6AM. That's a five hour wait instead of a four hur wait, so you actually lose an hour of drinking time.

Personally, since I am retired, :nana: DST or not means nothing to me.

I think I'll do that (seeing as how I really want to format this hard drive more than anything else, and am not adding anything to it right now unless it's porn).

Indiana - articles in the paper today about it. Half the clocks on eastern, half on central - all fucked up!

Enjoy the journey

Okay, I got it mixed up with DST. All I remembered that half the town was an hour different from the rest. Thanks.
