My cards are all in the mail, my tree is up and decorated, the gifts are all bought and wrapped and cookies are all baked (had help with that one.) I'm ready for Christmas and now I'm just waiting like a little kid for it to get here!

Actually, I have a haircut appointment this morning so I had to get up early. Then the normal Saturday errands plus extra shopping for food for parties this week. THEN the relatives start arriving this afternoon. That's the part I'm really looking forward to!

I hve tons of presents to wrap and have no time sans kidlings when I can get it done.

Today is my family christmas and I am finishing off the last crafts to wrap and send.

*sigh* I won't be going as little man has the flu.

Huge disappointment. Just huge.

To those of you who aren't ready for the holiday yet, good luck to you and keep your undies straight, not in a bundle. If it isn't critical, cross whatever it is off the "to do" list and forget about it. Most people won't notice if you skip a task here and there, but it could save you a grey hair or two.

I'll spend my night and tomorrow wrapping the presents while the lil one is gone.

I haven't baked this year, the first that I haven't in the past 11, and I probably won't bother. The little man gets the holiday sweets during his weekend visits to his father's and his families... and I certainly don't need the extra calories from them.

Cookies today, Party tonight. I have the presents all wrapped. (I do it as I buy them,) except for the husband's which I will buy today. My son is decorating a gingerbread house. He wanted one so and I didn't want to bake one and they are so expensive for what they are when pre-baked. Found one marked down from $18 to $4 yesterday when I bought most of the food for Christmas eve dinner yesterday, so he will happily decorate it today.

We don't have a Christmas dinner, we do it on Christmas eve so then everyone can pick and have leftovers on Christmas day. That way I don't have to cook on Christmas and neither does the husband.
