I'm bummed

I'm bummed. I had an appointment today to get D's mark tattoo'd on me, and I woke up with swollen throat and fever. I have very low immune system so getting tattoo'd when I'm not in tip top health is out of the question. Bah!

I was so looking forward to it.

Since my tattooist is a very good friend, she pretty much squeezes me in whenever I want, so as soon as I get better I'll make another appointment. But I hate when you get all excited about something and can't wait and the waiting takes forever and the day comes and then it doesn't work out, you know? I'm not the most patient of persons.

Can you tell I'm pouting? haha..

Haha, I own about 3 pairs of shoes, and it's a struggle to get me into any of them. I tend to wear this old battered pair of ballarina slippers (the isotoner ones) whenever I can. Drives my family nuts, and isn't good for my feet at all.

My parents and grandparents are out of town (I'm VERY close to my family and spend a lot of time with them) so I can't go visit them. It's too hot out to go enjoy the outside. I should clean my house but I've worked my ass off all week, I need a break. I think I might go buy myself a salad somewhere (I love salads) and veg out in front of the tv with a bunch of movies.

She was kind of bummed too, I could tell she was struggling between being logical and being impatient like me, LOL. My tattooist solved that for us and lectured me about getting rest.

To make matters worse today, it's very hot here (hasn't been all summer yet) and the A/c isn't working. It's stifling hot in my house. What next? Maybe this is punishment for actually taking a weekend off work? heh...
