I wasn't sure if anyone would be interested in the story idea that I had for my first submission, let alone which category it should go in!

I actually first developed my writing skills in various chatrooms. I have been practicing cyber sex (don't laugh!) since I was fourteen, and I'm twenty now. I don't do the cyber thing anymore, but that and Cosmo issues have helped me with the art of sex scenarios. That isn't the problem.

The story behind the sex, is that basically two best friends get together and plot to screw with the heads of their male friends. One of them is Susan, who keeps getting the best of her ex, Matt, and the other is Tricia, a loner who tips Susan's protective friend Dan off to Matt and Susan's actions. Would anyone be remotely interested in this kind of story?

I submitted it under Novels and Novellas, I think, but I didn't know which category fit it best. What do you all think?

Hello!

First, welcome to Lit!

And I'm in the Midwest, too!

I wonder about your story. You may want to go for a different category - Novels and Novellas isn't as widely read as others. Perhaps group sex would be better?

At any rate, congratulations on your first submission!

Welcome to the hangout, Fiend.

Eek! You were jailbait! I had a close brush with jailbait in the sexual roleplay forum here at Lit. Excuse me for a moment while I go take a Benadryl for this nervous rash...

:D

There. That's better.

Tequila works better. :D

Ha ha..not like I'd ever have told anyone I was cybering, I did it on school computers, too. I felt so dirty, tee hee.

I might switch categories. Also, a friend said my story was too soap opera-ish. I hate those shows, so I was considering a different idea.

I wish they had cybering when I was fourteen. They had penpals.

Hello and welcome :) Submitting your first literotica piece is a nerve wracking time, but it's a good learning process too. I wish you all success and welcome to the Authors Hangout. If you want an author's view on anything. Ask here :)

Really? HOW old are you? j/k

It isn't that great, pal. just a bunch of words on a steamed up computer screen. The orgy of the nerds and losers.

Yes, I was a loser in school. Until I discovered heavy metal.

Welcome to the AH and Lit, it is a great place. Definately check out more than just the Author's Hangout, you'll find interesting people all over the board.

welcome to the fold, dahlink.

Probably best they didn't have it when I was fourteen. Lord, the trouble I could've gotten in...

Yeah . . . you don't get into ANY trouble now . . .
:D
(Where's Shanglan? He'll back me up on this . . .)

welcome

glad to see you here on lit. Don't be so nervous. It is a little scary submiting your first story, but don't let it get you and I'm sure you will do fine. The nerves never end either lol. I got my first story in and it did well, good feedback votes etc, now I'm nervous as hell the second won't do as well.I think all in here will tell you its not easy to throw your baby out there for the world to see. What matters is that you enjoy it and are happy inside for having written it.
Just my 2 cents, I won't wait for the change

*L* Sounds reasonable to me.

Are you male or female? There's been a big influx of ambiguously gendered poeple here, and it always disconcerts me.

Hi, MSF. I'm Kass.

That's it.

Why are you still reading?

Why do you keep touching me?

...Oh yeah, right. Forget I asked that last one. :D
