Good morning beautiful people !!

Loved the story of mom --
Mine was that I did something wrong ( yeah go figure) , she tried to paddle me with a yard stick , broke that , and moved on to bigger things like one of her soup spoons . I guess in retrospect I shouldn't have laughed when she broke the yardstick -- that soup spoon hurt !!!

My mom broke the WOODEN Soup spoon...and I laughed...which is how the boyfriend got taken away! I'dve loved a yard stick...not nearly as painful!

I would have begged for a spoon or rule stick, My dad being in the printing business (go figure) had hands that were as hard as bricks and the muscle to back them up. Only had to endure it a couple time. Not the most enjoyable thing in world.

Just hurts thinking about it

I learned the same lessons...just without the pain. My mother had a way of making you feel worse than any spoon or stick could. And unfortunately she passed it down to me.

Now my dad...HE was the pushover. Being Daddy's little girl had it's advantages.

My mother was the same way, she didnt need no stinking weapon. I swear my mom had the ability to tell if i did something or not just by looking at me. In the end I would say i did it if i did, and she would give the line " Yes dear, I know" I really miss her

Yea the decided to make cheeseburgers and hotdogs. Plus I have to give them my small list of stuff im gonna need while watching the dogs. I hope to get part 2 of Forgotten Memories written while there to. No Lit or comp just the tv and dogs
