As the snow gently falls from the dark gray sky, I start to think back of days past. The playing and laughing, the enjoyable moments with a special someone then as if by magic we disappear inside to warm ourselves by an open fire.
Rosy, if this sounds appealing to you. I will be waiting with open arms. We will play until exhausted, then go inside and sit by the roaring fire, roasting marshmallows and drinking hot coco!

I never like this period of snowfall. Where you can still see the tips of the grass sticking up through the snow, and by the next day all the snow's half melted and slushy. I prefer a nice, thick sheet of virgin white.
Or maybe I'm just feeling bitter because this snow is making it so it takes my dog half an hour of standing outside before she'll pee.
