I don't think that they are of any genre...their sound is one of a kind. They're considered an intellectual band. I've loved them since 1991.

Did you listen to the video?

Late night stirbird! :) I am so sleepy I didn't even notice you had posted a video, kcar! I will listen to both of these tomorrow, when I can do them justice. I'll let you know what I think!

I am surprised to hear they are not metal, though. That name, TOOL, just sounds like something a hardcore metal band would choose.

They're, perhaps, what's called a "progressive" band - with Industrial roots.

Naaah, they're not hard core at all. ^_^

I'm very happy HD is posting cute gothic guys as well as cute gothic girls. Why care who the hunk is... (thinking about why men always want to know the names of female models--so they can collect more of their pictures, duh!)... nevermind!

I dabble in magic. Not stage magic but the real McCoy. I met Copperfield in Tibet. Blane I met in Mongolia. But this guy, who is also a friend, earns my deepest respect. He is Cris Angel, to me, the world's best living magician. :)

p.s. People say we looked like brothers. But that's another story.
