I'm being attacked by sparrows.

Sitting outside, I am being swooped by tiny little sparrows. They must weigh all of about 15 grams, yet they are fearlessly swooping at me and sitting on the fence loudly chirping their displeasure at me being under where they want to put their nest.
It's totally cute to watch!

I will end up destroying their nest - they are an introduced pest here.
But for now, it's quite entertaining.

They're too small to be more than half a bite.

Tore down the half-built nest and hung a cd as a deterrent.

with this warm weather here, we are being over run by beetles. nasty fuckers get into everything.

We get an annual spider and scorpion invasion.
This year, I have brought out the heavy chemicals and have sprayed a barrier around the entire house.
The difference is amazing!
Only one scorpion and 2 spiders inside in the last month.
