YUP YUP YUP Its an urban legand. I cant believe the things people believe. Wouldnt lighting the fire cracker be eough to blow it up?? I know that getting any fire that close to gasoline would ignite it.

The purpose of a fuse is to prolong the explosion so you can get the hell away before it explodes, which is how firecrackers and things like Molotov cocktails work. Hence, it would be possible on a technical level for such an urban myth to be true.

I just knew that story sounded too familer to me. My freshamn year of college we had an urban legends class and that was one of the stories. Anyways thanks for the award P P, but knowing you i am sure there is more bullshit to be uncovered.

Well, I am not sure what geometrically means? maybe you mean exponentially? donn take this like I know anything about math, but a Guy explained this to me once, and weird stuff sticks in my head. The crime rate in one place may double or triple while the crime rate somewhere else goes down ten percent. But if the crime rate in the first place was 10 per thousand and tripled, while the other place was 500 per thousand and went down ten percent, where would you rather live? Those times and percent things is awful trickie.
