I seemed to have survived the trip to NY. I only got into one fight with my father. Enough to really mess up my holiday. I am pretty sure that I will take a few years off before I go back. If ever.

I enjoy Christmas with my family at my house so much more.

It was a safe trip. Got to see some snow. It is still cold and wet and a real bitch to drive in. Why do people willing live in places that have snow?

Plus now I am safe from all the damn yankees. :D

I missed the board.

I missed most of you (some of you can still go fuck yourselves for all I care).

I am glad I am back.

ps I got a present from Santa, a digital camera! If and when I figure out how to use the damn thing I will start to use it here. Gotta show you my cats at least, I think that is a rule here isn't it?

Hi!

This is the perfect thread to take me to one post off my 5000!

Hi again...

:D

Welcome back, make peace with your father as soon as possible, you don't want to have things left unsaid. I know what you mean about the North, I was stationed in N.C., trained at Ft. Bragg, Camp Leguene(sp?), Cherry Point, and farther South..Ft. Benning. I absolutely loved the people, way of living, and the lay of the land.
I have N.C. on my list of future employment and relocation. Good healing to you, and get off the "repressive" drugs soon! :D

Welcome back!

Glad you had a safe holiday. We are getting our snowstorn here last night and this morning.

Pics, we want pics. :D

It builds character and survival skills. Not to mention, it is generally beautiful when it snows. Some of us like to have 4 REAL seasons with distinctions between them- variety is the spice of life!

p.s. Welcome back.

For some reason my father gets in a 'festive' mood during Christmas. To be festive one must drink alcohol. When my dad drinks his mouth works but his brain doesn't. This usually results in us having a falling out. I am tired of this and I really don't want to deal with it. I understand what you mean and your right. But time will have to pass first so we can both sort of 'forget' what happened.

North Carolina is a great place. As long as you stay out of the cities.

Man I can't wait to get off these damn drugs. I haven't gone this long without an orgasm since I first discovered them. :p

Smiles..

Hey teach... nice to meet you.

Hey teach... welcome back!

And I'd love to see snow... there's not a lot of it here :)

Welcome back Teach.

Glad you had a safe trip. Best wishes for a better new year (we could all use a good 2002!).

Shit, I gotta post something I just noticed my post count is 66*, that number freaks me out.

Freaks me out too teach...

I just don't like what it represents...

As for your father, mine was the same. It's just not nice seeing your parents behave that way, let alone all of the arguments that follow.

Time and distance keep many a relationship alive.
