I've returned from my journey. I'm back for all of you who want it in plain English! I've noticed that these threads are mostly rehashes of the old, far better versions. I suggest a large, multi-dimensional thread. Bring a character in from whenever. From the future, the present, the past, any dimension. As usual, I will be taking control of Lokken of Taros. However, instead of our friend Wrathlance, I will be co-controlling the Slik God(not actually a god, just his title), who was dethroned by an evil power. His race are(obviously) the Sliks, a race of lizard-like creatures who excel at war. They, however have been twisted by this evil into beings of darkness. It's Lokken's(and anyone else who joins') duty to restore the balance by bringing the Slik God back to his throne. Take note that the Slik God never shows his face, wears a large Japanese style skirt over his legs, has four arms, and goes by the name Slik. Anyone who wants to join, go ahead. Any character at all. Hell, throw some in from Outlaw Star. One exception: No DBZ. They're just too powerful.

Hey. I haven't been around here for a long time and thus I don't ENTIRELY understand your post Morgoth, but I must say it sounds interesting. So do you want us to play characters from games/movies/animes/other stuff, or make up entirely original characters? Or either?

He's a dinosaur, lol.
Think of a Velociraptor, except for a little bit bigger. And, his scales are entirely red.
Has been altered, medically a few times. He has a black box in his throat that allows him to speak, and has had a few experments done to his brain to give him more inteligence than most men.
Has no weapons, but his long sharp claws, and jaws, and powerful feet. Is able to conjure up some fire, but nothing really huge.
Also, is immune to fire, can walk over lava if he desires it. But, water doesn't harm him, just like any other animal, he needs it to live.
No different than an animal. Has to eat and sleep, just like everyone else. Is very fast though. Horse is his main diet, so that tells you just how fast he can be.

You said no dbz, but would characters from Greek/Roman mythology be acceptable? ie: Persephone, the madin of the spring, Hera queen of the gods ect...

CRYO CRYO CRYO!!! My Chocobo character is making a comeback!

Many many years ago (in the yahoo rpg chatrooms) I had a persona of Seyton burrfoot. (the unknown brother of Tas). As the months went by, he aquired quite a number of things. Among them were the hero's code, allowing him to transform into a Hero of Al. more specifically, a kaiser of al. Thus Seyton became tb_Alkaiser (tb stands for Tempered Blue). After a while, a tornament was held, Many people broke the rulls and were as gods, but the few of us that respected the honor system held out own branch. At the third round of this torunament, Seyton fell, his legs decapitated. Longer, better legs were removed from a fallen warrior and made into makeshift artificial legs for Seyton. While using them, he had need to transform. When he was finished being the alkaiser, he noticed that the legs were no longer artificial, but natural. So the transformation merges biological limbs and organs with the existing host, creating a newer version of the host! well, using this technique, Seyton took the wings of Bahamut Zero, A succumbi's tail, and a human's arms, and made them into his own.

Along the way, he happened upon a chocobo egg. The egg was however stolen from his pack before given an opportunety to hatch. The scientist that ordered the theft of the chocobo egg put it in Liquid Helium for preservation. However, something unforceen happened. The chocobo inside the egg did not freeze, but mutated, similer to the mr. frees complex. TB Alkaiser rescued his egg, and just in time for it to hatch into a beautyfull White chocobo. As the chocobo grew, it's feathers changed from white to an icy glazed black, in a process simmiler to puberty. Cryo, as the chocobo was named, soon prooved to have a natural talent in controlling ice. Eventually however, TB Alkaiser and Cryo had to part ways and find their own adventure.

TB alkaiser wend that way, to the other side of the net, finding adventure his own way. Cryo however migrated here, and is in hybernation untill such a time as he can stretch his wings and make a story.

Nightray: Go ahead. I already know your character. Dark, either is fine. A short description: Lokken rules Taros. I use him mostly in my threads. He is somewhere around 5,000 years old as he was made immortal by the Godess of Life. He worships Belial, the God of Justice and Death. He travels through time and dimensions helping people out on his god's orders. He is an extremely powerful warrior and mage. He excels as Death and Fire magic. I love it, Silverwolf! A Legolas is just what I need. Poohlive: Great! Basia: It would be okay as long as you could take away their immortality and unlimited power. Cryo! You know your always welcome!

Is it alright if I be a part of this thread. I already have my character- his name is Alec and he is a magic user. He isn't really a mage but he can tap into the essence of magic and make it do this that he wishes it to do. And if nobody has started this thread I would love to have a go at it.

Hmmm.... being able to manipulate magic to your whim without the hardships of memorization or the unfortunities of miscasting. kinda sheep, don't you think?

Would a character liek Cassandra of Troy be alright then? She was given the "gift of sight" by Apolo, but cursed by him as well. The curse was that no one would believe her prophacys.

Okay.... I can see what you mean Cryo and all I can say is that you are right, that is a little bit on the sly side so all I can do is compromise.

He is a warrior and can also tap into the essence of magic and manipulate it but when he does so he gives up some of his life force to achieve it so he does not do it as much as he would like to.

INFO: Lalita has a kind and gentle heart but her spirit is a wild one. she can't follow rules that well and hates being bossed around. This was the main reason she left her home and left to travel. Lalita is very skilled with a bow and somewhat skilled with a sword. She senses emotions from people and is sometimes able to read minds. She is working on developing a telekenisis power but progress is slow. She hopes to make new friends of all races and possibly one day fall in love.
