i didn't die, get abducted by aliens, or become a monk. just been depressed lately. life and the world have been getting me down to the point where even the sexiness and general amusement of this place weren't helping my state of mind. it's been an interesting ride lately but i think perhaps it's on the upswing.

all that to say, i'm not completely back but i do want to chat and check in occasionally with those i'd gotten to know before our friendships were so rudely interrupted.
