Doc does get into everything. He loves to get on people's shoulders, and he has started to explore the top of the refrigerator. We're the type of people who keep stuff on the top of their refrigerators, so I really don't need him up there knocking stuff off.
Today I slow-cooked a couple of venison shoulders and found out that of the two cats, Doc is the most passionately fond of it. (I've never met a cat who didn't like venison--just some like it better than others). I came into the kitchen to find the two of them sharing a chunk of venison that Doc had stolen from the pan. I'm sure that Doc was the one who stole it--he's the one who gets up on counters the most often. But then, Ziba is the one who knocked a whole bunch of papers and a homemade Carmen Miranda hat off the top of my art table.
One of our cats (Ski) does not jump very well. He's always been that way - it isn't an age thing.
He'll start to jump up on the couch and then to reach the top he'll pull himself up with his claws. OR he'll start to slide off a piece of furniture and he'll grab tightly to anything to prevent his fall.
And woe to the human whose arm or leg happens to be in the way.
