I'm an Author!

Hey, guess what? I'm still here. Yes, we're at Ice's parent's farm, but the room situation was better then we feared.

It turned out we have a whole guest house for ourselves. That'll come in handy.

As well as a separate phoneline! I just hooked up my laptop's modem and connected like i always do from home. So I'll be with you all week.

Anyway, what I logged in to say was:

I've written my first smut!
Actually, it's my first coherent story since grade school, and at 5200 words, by far the longest I've ever completed. It took some of you one month to write 50000 words. It took me two months to write this. Still, I think I understand how you NaNo racers must have felt when you crossed that line. This is major for me, and I really think the story turned out great.

I just submitted it half an hour ago, and it's proofread by my personal editor and boy-toy, so it should pass with flying colors. I'll bump a link into my sig in the magic 3 to 5, or 5 to 7 days or whatever that was. (Open invitation to you-know-whom to clarify )

Congratulations, Lin. Now why not write a story about a lady carrying twins who is hot? That should annoy the duo.

I haven't had feedback from them yet so I still feel incomplete as a Lit author despite over 50 submissions.

I can moan about statistics. My latest has been bombed - perhaps because it wasn't very good. I can't moan about twins. Despite them occurring in both sides of the family we missed out.
