Okay, for all those who are reading this, It's STory Time with BardsLady:
Last November, as most of you know, I wrote a book called The Montegard Files: Shadow Demon.
Since then, I've had it stashed on my computer and on disk as well as hardcopy, never DREAMING it would lead to this.
Fast forward a few months:
I've been chatting a lot with people over at Writerspace.com for a while, getting tips and talking with published authors like Amanda Quick, Heather Graham, Harlequin Blaze's own Tori Carrington, Millie Crisswell, and a few others.
One of my frequent chat people had been in touch with an Editor who was looking for an author who wrote erotic fiction. Sensual would be more like it, but hey.
Remembering me and the chats we'd had, my friend put the two of us together with E-Mail.
Yesterday Morning:
Triskelion Publishing's Editor asked to see some of my work. So I sent her Shadow Demon.. the whole enchilada. Two hours later she IM'd me and said: What would you say if I told you I wanted your book?
I lost my jaw, my mind, and whooped and hollered til someone thought I was loosing my sanity! It's official, It's going to be published AND she wants me to write MORE!
My dream has been realized. I'm doing what I love doing. Writing stories... only now.. if people like my book, I'm going to be getting paid for it. How cool is that?
