Memories
Pressed between the pages of my mind
Memories
Sweetened thru the ages just like wine
Quiet thoughts come floating down
[/SING]
I want you all to get this song implanted in your head like its stuck in mine

I thought it was:
Memories!
Something-something moonlight.
something-something-something.
I remember when

Something-something
something-something-something.
Let the memories....
Live/begin again!

Nope ... the song that never ends is :

It's a small world after all,
It's a small world after all.
It's a small world after all.
It's a small, small world.

It's a world of laughter,
A world of tears, it's a world of hope and
A world of fears...

* insert correct words here, I don't remember them due to massive brain hemmorage from hearing this over and over *

La la la la la la la la la la la la ....

It's a small, small world.

* repeat over and over till your head explodes *

SOME MEMORIES JUST WON'T DIE
(written by Bobby Springfield, performed by Marty Robbins)
from the 1982 Columbia LP, COME BACK TO ME, FC 37995

You say it's over
You way it's through
It was a long long time ago
And he means nothing to you
Oh but I heard you whisper
Someone's name in your sleep last night
Baby admit it
Some memories just won't die

Oh some memories just won't die
Some feelings just won't leave
Oh no matter how hard you try
And I know every now and then
You still think of him
I see it in your eyes
Some memories just won't die

I thought my loving
would help you forget
But something tells me
You're not over him yet
Something's haunting you
Way down deep inside
Am I losing you
To a memory that won't die

And some memories just won't die
Some feelings just won't leave
Oh no matter how hard you try
And I know every now and then
You still think of him
I see it in your eyes
Some memories just won't die

But I think Aqulia meant

Memories

(paroles et musique de Strange / Davis)

Memories pressed between the pages of my mind
Memories sweetened through the ages just like wine
Quiet thoughts come floating down
And settle softly to the ground
Like gold of Autumn leaves around my feet
I touched them and they burst apart
With sweet memories, sweet memories
Of holding hands and red bouquets
And twilights trimmed in purple haze
Laughing eyes and simple ways
And quiet nights and gentle days with you
Memories pressed between the pages of my mind
Memories sweetened through the ages just like wine
Memories, memories
Of holding hands and red bouquets
And twilights trimmed in purple haze
And laughing eyes and simple ways
And quiet nights and gentle days with you
Memories pressed between the pages of my mind
Memories sweetened through the ages just like wine
Memories, memories, sweet memories
Memories

Its a Small World
Written by: Richard M. Sherman and Robert B. Sherman
It's a world of laughter
A world of tears
It's a world of hopes
And a world of fears
There's so much that we share
That it's time we're aware
It's a small world after all

There is just one moon
And one golden sun
And a smile means
Friendship to ev'ryone
Though the mountains divide
And the oceans are wide
It's a small world after all

It's a small world after all
It's a small world after all
It's a small world after all
It's a small, small world

It's a world of acne, a world of germs.
It's your brand new dog coming down with worms.
It's the notes being played
By a cockroach parade,
It's the real world after all.

It's a world of ulcers, a world of cysts.
It's the hole in the road that you never miss.
It's the cheap underwear
Creeping up to your hair,
It's the real world after all.

It's the real world after all,
It's the real world after all,
It's the real world after all,
It's the real world after all.

It's a world of hunger, a world of sin.
It's a million products to keep you thin.
It's machinery exhaust
Causing air to be lost.
It's the real world after all.

It's a world of stark mediocrity,
It's a world of mindless activity.
It's the little white lie
Inside Mom's apple pie,
It's the real world after all.

It's the real world after all,
Cold hard steel world after all,
Slimy eel world after all,
Well, it's the real world after all.

It's a world that's black and a world that's blue,
And you must duck logic to get you through.
It's the sudden attack
Of a knife in your back,
It's the real world after all.

It's the real world after all,
Spinning wheel world after all,
Cold hard steel world after all,
Well, it's the real world after all.

Thanks be for the Mammaries. :D

It was the Ranger Arvid who made the great faux pas
Against the tiny elflings one heard but seldom saw.

Returning to his village one moonlit summer night,
He passed among the foliage that hides so much from sight.
And knowing his trip homeward was only just begun,
He paused beside some bushes, and when he was undone,
The dunce peed into the firethorn.

And underneath the firethorn, but unbeknownst to him,
The elfling folk were dancing, beneath that very limb.
The elfling folk were dancing, but hastened to unfold
Diminutive umbrellas, from which rolled drops of gold.
The dunce peed into the firethorn.

The queen of grass and mushrooms, in garments fine and strange,
Stood cool, aloof, and distant, but not quite out of range.
The queen of grass and mushrooms, so lovely to behold,
With hair like burnished copper, whose highlights gleamed like gold.
The dunce peed into the firethorn.

To Arvid came she striding, betraying no surprise:
The queen of grass and mushrooms, with murder in her eyes.
With pride, disgust, and outrage. And angrily she spoke.
“Who is this clumsy human? Is this some kind of joke?
The dunce peed into the firethorn.”

He dared to give her answer: “I’m awfully sorry, ma’am.
It’s just my human kidneys that make me what I am.
And likewise all me comrades, when they’ve been at the sauce,
Those steady-handed fellows I’m careful not to cross.”

The queen of grass and mushrooms entranced him with her stare.
Her eyes had turned to spirals, and music filled the air.
“You must not know our secrets, when we have set you free.
You will remember nothing, except my mammaries.

The ranger Arvid chuckled, as everything grew dark,
”You may make me forget you, but still I’ve left my mark.
And that will run behind you, a stain upon the ground.
And that will lie beside you, as every dance goes round.“

He woke, recalling nothing, beneath the morning sun.
But seeing where he was, and what he had left undone,
The dunce peed into the firethorn.

Memories...light the corners of my mind...
Misty watercolor memories....of the way we were.....
