Illustrated Story Backlash?

perhaps Laurel and MAnu will become convinced of the need and demand. BUT in the mean time...that is why I made my thread... so that there MIGHT be some substantiation to my claim. Sadly...it has not been overrun with posts. STill I enjoy it and am thatnkful to them for THAT outlet....it is FREE.

Cudos to them for that!!!

Maybe we could get that thread to be the sticky?

I finally know what you were waiting for, even if not what for, if you follow me.

And While I do have some art "available" it isn't very much. I've put up nearly all the erotic stuff and a fair number of old posters and illos, already. I don't do this full time the way Rhino does. He has real talent, you see, and I dabble.

I am not surprised.
LOOK how many memebers there are! The must get bombarded with requests. Just MAINTAINING and trouble-shooting must be daunting.

I do not begrudge the non-response.

I hear ya there. I realize that it must seem like an over-whelming thing, but sometimes I can't help but wonder, if behind all the non-responsiveness, there's a well oiled and smoothly running machine and the Lit gods are simply off on regular vacations.

I agree, but I don't think the thread is quite as accessible, sticky or not, as a gallery of images would have been.

The format of the "reader's Illustrations" section would have been fine, even, although a gallery of thumbs leading to good-size files when clicked would be even better. My image handling program (and most others) generates thubnails automatically unless you shut the feature off. It might be more difficult to arrange in HTML or a script language, I couldn't say.

But the thread is so nice because of the interaction with others, the give and take, the cross-pollination. And for making requests and filling them.

A mere gallery would have to have a comment section appended to it to do any part of that. One capable of threads.
