Illusion Vale (OOC)

Buenos dias, senor. Como estas?

(Which I could actually type in Spanish, there are some accent marks missing)

Well, obviously no one knows Spanish. Here's a translation: "Good day, sir. How are you?"

So, let's return to my normal greeting.

Evening folks. How's everyone?

I'm going to guess German, right? Sorry, don't know German. My high school only taught three foreign languages: Spanish, French, and Latin. I took Spanish because of where I live. Native Spanish speakers almost outnumber native English speakers.

*shrug* I took French.

Anyway, I'm given to believe that it means "Good Morning (insert honorific = sir)." And then I believe wie gheits means "how are you?" Or "How goes it?"

Its been a while... but its a greeting :D I'm pretty sure of that. I learnt german like... ten years ago

Good Eve Jedi, I be well, thank you.
I'm just catching up on some things I need to do :D
How about you?

I'm doing well. Just rereading one of the Harry Potter books. Also waiting for some posts to reply to. :D

Sorry, my comp's lagging tonight so I'll be slower than usual.

Which book? I've read the last, Angelus is in the process now. Good book. (please, do not post any more spoilers in this OOC)

Half-Blood Prince. And I won't post any spoilers. Besides, what I did eariler I would consider more of a tantalizing hint rather than a spoiler. It didn't reveal the what happened.

And I agree about it being a good book. And, providing Hollywood doesn't cut it up as per their tradition, it will make a very good movie.

Oh, that was a good book too :D They all were.

Yeah, I agree, it would make a good movie.

I understand you play badminton every so often. I never really got into it, although some kids at my high school loved it, but they were most likely being the idiots they usually were.

How do you like it?

*blinks* Badminton? Where'd that come from?

I like it very much. Its a very fun and engaging sport, plus very socially interactive. Plus it helps you keep in shape (if you play it properly :D)

I was looking for some casual conversation, and then I remembered your profile.

Well, if you like it, then that's a sport for you. I'm more of a sit and watch sort of person (at least when it comes to sports). I'm not all that athletic, not having much endurance to keep up strenous activity for long. I'm more of a sprinter, if you know what I mean.

LOL, me too. I'm not too much into sports, but when I feel like doing them, I usually do badminton.

Anyway, while not massive posts, I did do three rather good quality and story immersive posts and I feel like I'm about to melt down. Plus... I need to start on dinner :D

So, I will say Adieu, Adios, Farewell and good night.

LOL

Also...

Cya!

Buenas noches, Senorita. Hasta manana.
