I read on the other thread that they are doing the work that so many legal citizens are unwilling to do.

I did a little research.

I would like for you to as well, If its really a right wing conspiracy.

In the states where the main illegal immigrant body of society lay.

Compare the known percentage of illegal immigrant workers to the known percentage of legal citizens on welfare.

Let me know what you find.

I was shocked, maybe you will be as well.

P.s. I used CNN, NyTimes, IRS webpages as my main research pages. No right wing talk radio host was used in this research project.

I agree with your post Todd. It really is common sense. An eductaed person who is willing to work hard has nothing to fear from an immigrant. IN fact if you own a business an immigrant can become a customer. Right wingers try to capture the vote of the uneducated, lazy man, and this is how they appeal to them.

nobody going to give it a try or where the results a shock to you

I'm just a lazy immigrant!

I came to this country legally as a child and stayed illegally a few years later. Then won a "lottery" of sorts, got my Green Card, and then became a citizen. The whole time my family was here we filed and paid income taxes, the whole bit. Most people had no idea we were even foriegn. Only until after 20 years did I ever put my hand out to the Govt when I had to take unemployment last year. Yet we know people who have been here 30+ years who only socialize within their countrymen and sound like their fresh off the boat! I was 9 when I moved here and couldn't wait to become an American (only now do I realize that there is no such thing, everyone's Irish-American or Chinese-American or some other sort of hyphen)
