Ignore function not working

Whenever I try to ignore a user on the chat, it logs me off entirely. I've tried different browsers, even made a new username, still happens. I've heard of this happening with others so it's not user error. Any advice on how to fix? Thanks!

From what I can gather from other threads about technical issues with this forum, it is heading for an upgrade in the not too distant future, so therefore the owners of lit will have little incentive to fix any problems with the current version on the site.

Well OK but I think the whole of LIT, including the chat may be getting an upgrade, so it would be pointless to waste time and effort fixing issues.

Where have you seen information about an upgrade?

There are occasional roll-outs of new features story-side - a new on-line writing function went live this week; and a new listing feature for editors went live about a month ago, for example.

However, I believe that forum upgrades are a lower priority.

Not complaining, but that doesn't seem that complicated (but what do I know?)
