I know, though we can still see that they've posted, just that it's hidden. No, it means you do not see theirs.
Ive been told someone on your ignore list can attempt to write you, but you don't receive that message.I know, though we can still see that they've posted, just that it's hidden.
Can they still PM? It looks like they can, which just feels like it defeats the purpose of ignoring them.
I did receive it though it was hidden.Ive been told someone on your ignore list can attempt to write you, but you don't receive that message.
"Ignore" means you can see that they've written something, but you can't see what it is (unless you want to). It's not the same as blocking, which I'm not sure you can do.I did receive it though it was hidden.
Strange, isn't it?
Anyway, that's why I asked here.
Thanks.
Besides in the chat rooms, is there a way to block someone on the rest of the platform? If you block someone they'd know it, if you Ignore them, they wouldn't have a clue.
No idea. I only frequent the Authors' Hangout and the Feedback Forum, and story-side. I've never had a need to block anyone, although I do have a bunch of people on Ignore, which isn't quite the same thing.Besides in the chat rooms, is there a way to block someone on the rest of the platform?
There is no function to block a user in the forum software, the ignore function is about as good as it gets. If someone is being obnoxious enough to warrant a block it might be one to escalate to the mods or site owners.Besides in the chat rooms, is there a way to block someone on the rest of the platform?
