For the love of God I'm starting a thread that's about something other than us...

Has anyone here ever submitted a film to ifilm.com? I'm curious about how it was received, and if you feel like it's worth doing. I have several friends interested in doing a project like this with me, and I'm wondering if ifilm is a fad, a trend, or a real sensation.

If you've never been, by the way, it's worth it jsut for the film "405".

Maybe you should find out if everyone else thinks it's a good idea first.

No, I never have, but I'd love to hear from anyone who has submitted to such a site. I don't know if the Internet will ever truly replace traditional media such as film, television and radio, though. But who knows?

As would I.....

However, I'm a bit wasted - long little league game - infant birthday party and - what was the question? Oh yeah - video on this here web - don't know shit....

As usual.....

DCL,

I had never heard of ifilm before, it looks pretty good but it is confusing as all get out, i found the lesbian catergory, but couldn't find the straight sex catergory, :(

It seems to be legit just make sure you read all the small print before submitting anything. I encourage you to make your film, I am working on a couple of solo productions, sort of light religious parody, mocking some of the popular media conceptions of religion. I have a serious documentary stiyle film in the plans as well soon as i see the reaction on the local cable access channel to these first.

So knock yourself out and film away, if ifilm doesnt find it good enough go to the local cable channel they always look for things.
