Just bought a lottery ticket and have been sitting here day dreaming... Wonder what would Ya'll do if you won the lottery?

Id do all the responsible things in the first day, pay off bills buy house, give to charity. Then its off to australia I go! With my trusty sister Allexus!
Then I would spend a fortune on outrageously expensive hotel rooms in which I would learn if my OL pal is near as good with that tongue trick as he says he is!:D

How about you!

Pay all the bills, tell my principal i want to work part time as a Reading Specialist next year, then buy a motorhome and tickets to the entire Winston Cup Series for the next 5 years. Invest the rest to support my racing habit.

lottery

..i'd buy a new big-assed driveway..
,,mine has a crack in it.

Every now and then I indulge myself with this particular fantasy, especially when the Powerball lottery is way up there... there are so many different things I've thought of - some practical, some charitable, some selfish, some just silly. Here's a few:
  • Certainly some of it would go to charity.
  • Buy a BIG house... have lots of parties.
  • Fund Literotica so that the site can be bigger faster and not have to have advertisements.
  • Go on David Letterman and smile a lot as he asks me what I'm going to do with all the money I won.
  • TRAVEL (even more than I do now - but without having to actually do any work)
  • Impress hot babes with my new Armani suit, my new Ferrari Testerosa and get laid a lot. (Shallow, I now - on both their part AND my part.)

100% to charities

Some people are mean. My family already think they've won the lottery the way they spend, so I'm buggered if they'd see any of it.

There's your answer Morgy - do it now, go your separate way before you win.

I'd pay off all my bills and give each family member some money to help them out. I'd fund my friend's completion of her degree too....she's more like my sister :). I'd put some significant money into cancer research as well.

My selfish things: buy a house on the coast, a PT Cruiser, and host one hell of a party :D

well

Besides take care of family I would have a log cabin by a lake surrounded by miles of wilderness and become somewhat of a recluse with a special lady.

edited for my crappy spelling.lol

I would do all the usual things with the money. House, new car, vacation. Then I'd spend some time helping out my friends. Make their dreams come true. But only if they wanted.

won the lottery....

Lots to charities for sure; sock money away for the kids; and then build my stone tower with a spiral staircase by the sea......

If I went now I don't think I'd make it very far...

Hmmm, I want to join thumbs2_ca. A house in the woods by a lake with a special guy sounds wonderful. :)

I'd take care of family first. I'd travel non stop for about two years and see everything I've always wanted to see: England, Ireland, Italy, Scotland, Canada, etc. Then I'd settle down for a nice, quiet, simple life.

Oh my..........

I'd buy an uninhabited island, fix it up with all the modern conveniences, hire a staff of delicious groundskeepers, stableboys, poolmen, gardeners, chefs, houseboys and assorted odds and ends ;) and get away from it all for at least a year. Mmmmm...

Well:

Fantasies:

Quit my job.
Buy this house I have had my eye on so I could have house concerts.
Hire a personal trainer who would keep me in shape.
Hire a housekeeper and a cook!
Take all the classes I have wanted to take because I wouldn't have to work anymore.
Plan vacations and take them!
Set up a trust so I could give money away the way I would want.

I'd dish out some money to those I love and help a few others....

Then I would head to a place I know is there waiting and relax into such a sexsual relaxing life of contentment.......

I think everyone wants to say charity now so that they don't sound like greedy bastards. Heh.

Me? Well, funny you should ask. Let's playfully say we're working with a million here.

1) Set aside about $100,000 for the rest of my education. I doubt I'd need that much, but if I'm going to blow lottery money in one big go, I better not short change myself where I need it.

2) Good/Reliable Car. I wish I knew how dependable Honda Insights are. I really like the idea of hybrids.

3) Motorcycle. I haven't looked in a long time at specific bikes. But I really want one. Mmm. Maybe a Blue Honda Superhawk. The 2001s and 2002s don't come in blue, so that'd have to be a custom job.

4) $50,000 into a pure travel fund.

So... we're at, say... tops, $200,000.

5) The perfect wedding ring, period. If I don't get it now, while I have the cash to splurge... I may end up getting a ring that's less than I'd like. Granted, I've got no one in mind on who to GIVE it to.

6) Lots of film. Or a damn good digital camera. I want to get people smiling. A ton of pictures of people smiling. I think that's my new collection in life. Maybe I could just get a polaroid...

7) Pay off my brother n'sister's education and cover any debt of my family's. Not sure what THAT comes out to. Probably like $100,000 tops.

8) Mail order bride. I figure that if she can't understand what I'm saying, she can't be upset with my sense of humor.

9) Getting hard to think of things. I don't want that much. Uhm. Ah. OH! Shit, I'd LOVE to have a custom-fitted Spiderman outfit just like in the new movie. I have one as a halloween costume, but it's got holes in it. Heh. I love spandex on me.

10) I need a bigger hard drive on my computer.

11) I'd love to eat at a damn fine restaraunt.

12) $10,000 aside for my "make her smile" fund. Sort of in line with the wedding ring. ;)

I don't even need all of that stuff... at all. I'd end up giving most of it away, because I'm a sheep and don't want to be the ass who doesn't say charity.

Nah, I'd actually give it to charity because I want to *Laughs.* Hmm...

First thing I'd do is go and buy a house . Then after that it's off to West Coast Choppers to get a custom bike made . Then it's off to Guitar Center to buy about 10 guitars and the phattest Marshall Stack in you've ever seen!!

First i would split it with my brother and then i would buy the land next to were i live and build a big barn on it so i can park all the cars i would buy.
