Every poll worker I've ever met has been a complete asshole. It's one of the reasons I've voted by absentee ballot for years.

In my town the volunteers wear name tags that state their personal voter registration status.

I thank them all and act like I need their help.

Just want my vote to count, is all.

I did thank them. They did a good job in my town.

One guy was a joker and a flirt, the rest were older ladies.

There was a young couple in front of me, both first time voters, and the lady who took their IDs announced it and everybody cheered. It was cute.
