I've had the good fortune to meet someone from Literotica after a long and beautiful correspondence, and it was an extraordinary occasion..... There's no aphrodisiac better than communion through the word....the sharing of stories.....creative verbal intercourse.

I'm sorry Babydoll2u, but I must add my own Op-Ed Opinion: I've always felt that I could only hate one president at a time, just as I feel I can only love one woman at a time. My hatred has now switched from Nixon to Bush. I can better understand why Nixon kept us in Vietnam than I can understand why Bush led us into Iraq--with 1,100 American servicemen dead so far. I believe Bush will go down as the worst President since the early 20th century.... His only positive accomplishment--if you are wealthy--is that he lowered taxes for the rich. 200 billlion dollars could have been spent in so many better ways to make the USA and the World safer than the war in Iraq. 40,000 Americans die per year in car accidents and 11,000 by gun: Getting us to drive more safely would have made us safer than the war in Iraq. Gun control would also help.

I apologize for all those who feel this site should be free of politics.

Bush cut the Dept. of Veterans' Affairs budget by $5billion ...

so not only does the jackass send us to war, but then he cuts the legs out from under the only government office that helps the wounded veterans of HIS war.

My husband is a war veteran... and hasn't lost any of his benefits that were suposedly so drastically cut. We BOTH still stand behind Mr Bush.

I, as you, DESPISED Nixon but Dubbya is beyond reproach. I do not condone what Bill Clinton did with Monica while in office, however, that was a private matter that should have involved only he and Hillary, while Bush has involved OUR young men, women, sons, daughters, nephews, and grandchildren, not only causing loss of life and limb, but imprisoning them to endless years of debt PAYING for a war that was NOT sanctioned by the UN or the rest of the civilized world and NOT justified, in any way, shape or form.

Bush would have my vote on November 2nd, if he had wholeheartedly gone after Bin Laden, and he would have my vote for another four years after that if he had actually CAUGHT Bin Laden. Bin Laden is THE ENEMY--NOT IRAQ!!!

Well, I have been reading back on this post. I guess I shouldn't think anything of this thread having some politics thrown into it, as it is that time of year.

I have made a lot of online friends here, as well as meeting one individual in person. For that, I feel very fortunate. I have chosen a new lifestyle for myself and firmly believe that I will become stronger while dealing with every emotion imaginable.

I would still love to hear from anyone who has met someone.
If we wish for any changes in our lives, that will have to begin with us.
