If you could be sane for just a day

I had a very odd dream last night, and it disapates more after each hour...

I dreamed that I had been insane the last ten years (no joke) and had come out of it and could see what I had done. It sort of reminded me of 'A Beautiful Mind' as my wife explained that I spent the years proving that the 'Vendura Antelope' never really did exist. God knows where that came from. I got to see that I was much older than I remembered and it was scary to think I was going to slip back into it soon and be lost again...

I woke in a sweat

How would you handle having one day of sanity? How would you prep knowing the full tilt boogie would return the next time you woke?

~sigh~ It's too early in the morning to be freaked out...

I could do without dreams like that. Must have been a night for dreaming. I had some strange ones of my own, then woke up to a PM from a Lit member that had me in their dream. Though his dream was hilarious and reminded me of a silly road trip.

Good Morning JerseyBoy!:)

spend the day of sanity consulting with friends, taxi-drivers, psychologists, dream interpreters, shaman, and oracles to find out how to prolong the sanity...or find out how to navigate the insanity.

that *was* a weird dream JB.

mine have been nightmares but I can't wake up

You know, I have also battled with sanity and the lack of it, long enough that I really don't know that I know what sanity really is anymore.
I don't know that I would want even a day of complete sanity.
Happiness, yes, Sanity, no

morning you :)

yeah, dreams are so wierd, I don't think we'll ever know quite where they came from. Why does one dream of someone they havent seen since grade school? Does our brain spin the big roullette wheel and see what memopry bank will be infiltrated?

I recall more of my fear from the movie 'Awakenings' with Robin Williams as the doctor and Robert Deniro as the patient who had disease from the 1920's that basically had him comatose for 30 years. He then woke up with help of new drugs, but eventually he began slipping back...the worst part is that he knew it...and that it was a true story.

okay, who wants a sanity burger for lunch?
