If Lit Santa could leave one thing under your tree...

There are some medical procedures i need to have done that aren't covered by my insurance, I'd like those taken care of. Other than that, I'm good!

This year is ending well for me, there are still lots of loose ends to be tied up, but there has also been a much-needed new beginning for me and my children. I even have a strong lead on someone to kiss under the mistletoe :eek: - BONUS! :nana:

For everyone else, I'd like a magic wand that i can wave and fix everything that needs to be fixed in their lives. Barring that, my wish is that they would have HOPE in the midst of their circumstances. Without hope, life sucks! With it, anything seems possible. So hope - and joy. Hope for the future, and joy in the moment. And peace.

This is a lovely thread, BB. I'd selfishly like a white truffle, slightly smaller hips, and the ability to wear really high heels for hours without (a) falling over and (b) getting sore feet. For my people I'd like the guarantee of a peaceful year, in full health, with laughs and love galore.

I was at the grocery store on Saturday. The Salvation Army was out front with their kettles. The lady was seated nearby ringing her hand bell.

When I came home, I sat down at the computer. I turned on the digital audio workstation and was just kind of noodling around. I happened on a bell sound that reminded me of the Salvation Army bellringer.

Well, I messed around with that bell sound - twisted a semblance of a chord progression into it. I layered a drum loop and a synth bass sound underneath. And, I got this:

If there's one thing I've learned since I've been on Lit, it's that people will VERY often see you differently than you see yourself. I think you'd be pleasantly surprised at just how many people appreciate the finer qualities of a banana. ;)
